Speaking on The MinnMax Show podcast (via IGN), Schreier confirmed the existence of the project and that Aspyr is the studio handling the long-awaited remake: “This is public at this point, I’ve basically confirmed that Aspyr, which is the company that has ported a bunch of KOTOR games, is working on [the remake].” Schreier first alluded to Aspyr’s involvement in February 2020 when he reported that if the remake was in fact happening, it wasn’t being handled by Electronic Arts, which at the time still had the exclusive rights to make Star Wars games....

WandaVision fans should be pleased to learn that the show’s band is getting back together for the yet-to-be-titled Disney+ Agatha Harkness spinoff, which, according to Variety, will see Kathryn Hahn headline in a reprisal of her role, once again under the creative auspices of writer/executive producer Jac Schaeffer. Interestingly, the spinoff, reportedly in development, will take shape on the streamer as a “dark comedy.” It’s a notion that begs many questions, seeing as Agatha—despite the mischievous nature that made her an immediate favorite—was the clear villain of WandaVision, and perpetrated generations’ worth of cruel crimes....

The highly-anticipated sequel to 2017’s groundbreaking Wonder Woman–once again directed by Patty Jenkins and starring Gal Gadot and Chris Pine–turned out to be a surprisingly polarizing release, especially given the good will built up by the mostly outstanding and widely praised first movie. Those on the pro side enjoyed the new movie’s message of compassion and hope, especially in a year ravaged by the pandemic, and also found a lot to like in the performances of Pedro Pascal as Maxwell Lord and Kristen Wiig as Barbara Minerva/Cheetah....

Essentially a roguelike built into the World of Warcraft universe, Torghast is a replayable dungeon that changes every time you visit it. As you progress through the tower, you’ll unlock powers that will offer you everything from stat boosts to new abilities, but you’ll also encounter increasingly difficult enemies that will threaten to end your run before you ever come close to seeing the end of this unique dungeon. We imagine that WoW players will spend countless hours running through Torghast again and again in search of unique resources, rewards, and the fun of the experience itself....

Ok, there are still plenty of players who love to take their time on their journey to the level cap, but as WoW Classic showed, more people are interested in reaching the “endgame” as quickly as possible than ever before. Call it a symptom of dedicated gamers “figuring out” older WoW games and optimizing the best path through them, but it seems like more and more Classic players have at least a passing interest in how quickly they can reach max level if they’re not stopping to smell the roses along the way....

Actually, a big part of the reason why Microsoft purchased ZeniMax Media (Bethesda’s parent company) was to bolster Xbox’s lineup of exclusives and timed exclusives with the kinds of Bethesda-lead projects that typically steal the show at major events like E3. Of course, anyone who has been following Xbox’s production schedule over the last few years knows that they have quite a few other projects in their first-party pipeline that haven’t been properly showcased for quite some time....

Previously in 2019, Thomas delivered another well-regarded Netflix anime titled Cannon Busters. That was a crazy mashup of Wild West towns, transformer mechs, aliens, and droids. It’s just the sort of genre bending fare that only comics and anime can provide. Cannon Busters has a nod to samurai folklore too. There is a drunken ronin named 9ine who is connected to the legend of the 47 Ronin. But it’s only a passing reference while Yasuke centers around the titular samurai, reenacting some actual historical battles that he fought, with a few added battle mechs....

Jail Time This could be the best case scenario for the family. Yes, that is a bleak outlook right off the bat, but rest assured, one of Taylor Sheridan’s major strengths as a writer is his ability to write poignant endings that are equal parts tragic and hopeful. One needs not look any further than his tragedy filled finale of the Yellowstone prequel, 1883. Audiences have to recognize, there will be a very heavy turn, and if that simply means that one or more of the Dutton family has to serve prison time, many audience members will take that trade over darker alternatives....

Montana isn’t just big, but compared to the UK, it’s also empty. The average Brummie will inhale the recycled breath of more people in a single trip to Greggs than a Montanan will in their whole life. That place is one and half times larger than the United Kingdom but contains 66.1 million fewer people and almost three times the number of cows. Imagine a land 1,000 times bigger than the Isle of Wight, populated by almost entirely by cattle and the sons and enemies of Kevin Costner....

The only other aspect of Paramount Network’s massive Neo-Western drama that could overshadow the collective beauty of the cast, is the scenic beauty of Montana, where the show takes place. The massive sweeping plains and purple mountain’s majesty represents both the freedom to live in a piece of untamed nature, and the financial security to do so. Yet in a bit of atypical Hollywood magic, often the perfectly framed postcard-like shots of the American landscape are actually in Montana....

It feels crass to say it, but toxic masculinity, abuse of power, and sexual violence are “in” and everybody wants a piece. But after a few years of nearly every television show shoehorning their own #MeToo-style plotline, only a handful of properties actual handle it well and have up with something worthwhile to say on the topic remains elusive. Enter You, a10-episode scripted drama narrated by Penn Badgley’s Joe. Joe is a New York bookseller who will go to any length to get the girl he wants, all while convincing himself that his dangerous and disturbing acts are for her sake....

Young Justice Outsiders Episode 17 Here’s me about halfway through the latest episode of Young Justice‘s incredible season. “Holy crap, are they doing the Newsgirl Legion?” Here’s me, not two minutes later. And me again at the end of the episode: “Wait, did they just do superhero Arab Spring?” Spoilers: they didn’t, but that’s because the Arab Spring was a complicated geopolitical moment and a multifaceted movement that used social media not just as a way to circumvent hostile, government-controlled information sources for messaging purposes, but also as a way to organize civic engagement among connected, high-information activists, and this is a half hour cartoon on a comic book publisher’s proprietary streaming service....

DARKSEID IS…finally in the DC movie universe with the long-awaited release of The Snyder Cut of Justice League. And with Darkseid comes a whole host of plots, tools, and general bad dudes to help him destroy the universe. The most core to his being? The Anti-Life Equation. In Zack Snyder’s Justice League, Steppenwolf is still very much the main baddie of the film, exiled to Earth for failing to deliver enough worlds to his master, Darkseid....

12 Monkeys Season 4 Episode 10 Once or twice a decade, there comes along a show like 12 Monkeys that takes viewers to a world that they just never want to leave, mostly because of the beautifully conceived characters that become as familiar to fans as close friends but also due to the sense of wonder that the story creates. The 12 Monkeys series finale is one of the most satisfyingly complete episodes ever to grace the small screen, not only because it plays like a feature film but also because it brings characters and their arcs full circle almost as though we were reading a carefully crafted novel rather than watching a television series that evolved in seasons of writers rooms separated by months or years of discontinuity....
